Bringing us multicultural progressive realism, Chris Fabbri celebrates the present and revives the past. Continuing to draw and paint portraits for decades, applying oil and acrylics to canvas, paper and wood, inspired to focusing on photo shoots of California.
Chris Fabbri was born in October of 1973
in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
In the Summer of 1999, at age 25,
he moved to California.
The surface of his paintings are varnished with acrylics and oils, often using pastels on canvas, cardboard, metal, paper, primed wood and random found objects.
His portrait paintings are of actors and musicians, including generations of pop art. Some are small intimate frame sized paintings and some are wall sized works on canvas and cotton sheets as scenic props and back drops. Chris also builds series of nature photography inspired by the scenery of Northern California. Now in his mid.40s, he paints series of themed work, offering one-of-a-kinds to collectors worldwide.
Chris and Sherri have been living together in California since Summer 2001.
They’ve been touring the coast showcased in pop up artshows. Their most recent Street Art shows can be seen in Berkeley and San Francisco. Each show displays a variety of Chris’ hand painted works, produced while living on the West coast the last 2 decades.
